What operators are classed as MvNOs in the UK?

MvNO stands for Mobile Virtual Network Operator, and is defined as a network operator or provider that does not use it's own underlying network infrastructure to provide a service to its customers. Find out more information about MvNOs and what this means for your business!

 

Most providers in the UK would fall into this category, as most use the underlying infrastructure from four main operators:

 

  • EE
  • O2
  • Three
  • Vodafone

 

Every other network operator in the UK will use one of these networks to provide their services to their customers, but may provide their own customer service, billing systems and marketing, which makes it hard to identify that they are an MvNO.
